Regardless of religion or ethnicity, all Jordanians speak Arabic as their official language. Throughout Arabic world, language exists in three forms: Quran as Classic form of Arabic language. Development of language starts from classical and known as the Modern standard of Arabic language as well as local forms of spoken language. Standard of modern Arabic has virtually same structure where it is used, lexicon and pronunciation although, may vary locally. Many educated Arabs know two forms of the language, even uneducated are also the speaker and can also comprehend general meaning of modern standard Arabic, while classic Arabic is known to the scholars.

 

Dialect of Arabic very throughout Arab world, many Jordanians speak dialect common to Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and part of Iraq. Only few people believe that dialect of language is usually good in sense of conforming to ideal. They converse although in colloquial Arabic and generally agree in written form of the modern standard of Arabic that is superior to spoken and form because it is closer to perfection of Quranic language. Arabs believe that speech of Bedouins resembles the classical form that is most closely and locate dialects used by townspeople and settled villagers are unfortunate corruptions.

 

Within given regions there are slight difference is the speech distinguish city dweller from villager and significant ones that distinguish from nomad. Within villagers, various quarters display unique pronunciations, vocabulary and idioms that are specialized to the particular lifestyle, while grammatical structures may differ from each other.

 

As Arabic is a Semitic language and is related to the Aramaic. It is the language of Quran, which is believed by all the Muslims in world to be literal world of God. Speakers of Arabic language are emotionally more attached to the language than most people to their native. Poetic eloquence was the most admired culture and signs of cultivation in Arab world. Beauty of expression highly valued, writer and speaker sough circumlocution and an elaboration in both written and spoken form.
